Nature is wildlife artist Ego Giotto’s inspiration. Each individual painting takes him 2 to 3 weeks to complete following a period of extensive research during which he studies photographs and specimens of the subject. He then completes a series of preliminary sketches before embarking on the final painting. Using a tiny size 0 paintbrush, Ego skilfully renders the remarkably fine details of fur, feather or leaf that are such a distinguishing feature of his work.
